You can watch Bloomberg TV live for free in a few official ways: through Bloomberg’s own TV apps, through the free Bloomberg TV+ channel on Samsung TV Plus, and for 15 minutes a day on Bloomberg.com. For unlimited Bloomberg TV live on the web and phone apps, you need a Bloomberg subscription or a pay-TV service that carries the channel. Here’s how each route works, as of October 2026.
Key facts (as of October 2026)
- Bloomberg says live Bloomberg TV is available without a subscription in its apps for Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Roku and Samsung smart TVs.
- On Bloomberg.com and the mobile apps, non-subscribers get 15 minutes of live TV a day; unlimited live viewing needs a Bloomberg digital subscription.
- YouTube TV added Bloomberg TV+ and Bloomberg Originals to its base plan on October 28, 2025, with a 4K feed for 4K Plus subscribers.
What is Bloomberg TV?
Bloomberg Television is a 24-hour business and financial news channel owned by Bloomberg L.P. It started in 1994 as Bloomberg Direct, first carried on DirecTV, and then took its current name in 1997.
The channel is run from New York, with its European base in London and Asian hubs in Hong Kong and Singapore. Regional feeds serve Europe, Asia and the Middle East, so the morning show you see in London isn’t always the one airing in New York.
Because it’s a markets channel, its weekday line-up follows the trading day. Long-running shows include Bloomberg Surveillance, Balance of Power, Bloomberg Businessweek Daily and Bloomberg: The Close. Newer titles listed on streaming guides include Bloomberg Tech, Bloomberg Open Interest and Bloomberg Deals.
If you mainly want US market coverage, it’s also worth comparing it with our CNBC live stream guide. The two channels overlap in the trading day, although Bloomberg leans more global.
Can you watch Bloomberg TV live for free?
Yes, with limits. Bloomberg’s help center lists three free ways in, and they work differently depending on the screen.
Bloomberg’s TV apps (no subscription)
This is the easiest free option for a living room. According to Bloomberg’s help page, live Bloomberg TV is available without a subscription on these platforms:
- Apple TV
- Amazon Fire TV
- Android TV
- Roku
- Samsung smart TVs
First, install the Bloomberg app from your device’s app store. Then open the live section, and the channel plays. For setup help on those devices, see our guides to news channels on Roku and live news on Fire TV.
Bloomberg.com and the mobile apps (15 minutes a day)
On the website and the phone and tablet apps, the rules are tighter. Non-subscribers can watch 15 minutes of live TV a day. After that, however, the stream asks you to subscribe.
Clips, archived programs and podcasts stay free without a subscription. So if you only need one interview, the on-demand clip is often the better route anyway.
Bloomberg TV+ on Samsung TV Plus
Bloomberg TV+ is a free, ad-supported version of the channel. In other words, it shows the live Bloomberg TV feed with extra charts, headlines and data around the main picture. In May 2020, Bloomberg Media and Samsung launched it in full 4K on Samsung TV Plus, which needs no sign-up on Samsung smart TVs.
Bloomberg TV+ and Bloomberg Originals were also added to TCL TV Plus, TCL’s free streaming service, in May 2024.
How to watch Bloomberg TV live with a subscription
If you want the Bloomberg TV live stream on your phone or laptop all day, a Bloomberg digital subscription is the direct route. Bloomberg says unlimited live streaming comes with its Digital and its Annual Access + Businessweek Print plans. Prices vary by country and promotion, so check the current offer on Bloomberg.com before you sign up.
What changed in 2026
In February 2026, Bloomberg launched a new video experience. It put live TV, original shows and podcasts in one place on the website and in a new Stream tab in the mobile app.
The same announcement said that, for the first time, some Bloomberg video would be for paying subscribers only. However, it didn’t list which titles. The company also said the new experience would reach third-party streaming platforms in the third quarter of 2026.
Bloomberg TV live on cable and streaming TV services
Bloomberg TV is still a regular pay-TV channel in the US. So if you already pay for live TV, you may have it.
| Service | What you get | Notes (as of October 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube TV | Bloomberg TV+ and Bloomberg Originals | In the base plan since October 28, 2025; 4K feed with the 4K Plus add-on |
| DIRECTV | Bloomberg TV | Channel 353 HD |
| Fubo | Bloomberg Television | Listed on Fubo’s channel page with a free trial |

| Bloomberg TV apps | Live Bloomberg TV | Free on Apple TV, Fire TV, Android TV, Roku, Samsung |

When YouTube TV added the two channels, TheDesk reported its base plan cost $83 a month. That was the price in late 2025, so check YouTube TV for today’s rate. For more ways to drop cable, read our guide to watching news without cable.
What is Bloomberg Originals?
Bloomberg Originals is Bloomberg’s second streaming channel, built around documentaries and series. It replaced the brands once called Bloomberg Quicktake and TicToc.
During the business day, it simulcasts Bloomberg Radio. In prime time and overnight, by contrast, it shows original documentary series. Bloomberg told TheWrap it had made 26 original series and feature-length documentaries since launching its Originals studio in January 2023.
For example, titles include The Circuit with Emily Chang, Peer to Peer with David Rubenstein, Weekly Docs and Bloomberg Primer. Bloomberg Deals launched in February 2026.
Can I watch Bloomberg TV live in the UK and Europe?
Yes. Bloomberg’s European feed is carried by cable and digital TV providers across Europe, so start with your provider’s channel list.
In the UK, Bloomberg launched on Freeview channel 271 in 2022 through the Channelbox service, as Digital TV Europe reported then. However, Freeview line-ups change, so check the current channel guide on your TV. The Bloomberg apps on smart TVs and streaming sticks are the other easy route.

Bloomberg TV live: which option should you pick?
In short, it depends on where you watch. The right answer is usually the cheapest one that fits your screen.
- On a TV, for free: use the Bloomberg app on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV or a Samsung TV. Samsung owners can also use Bloomberg TV+ on Samsung TV Plus.
- On a phone at work: 15 free minutes a day covers a market open or a big interview. If you watch more, a subscription removes the limit.
- Already on YouTube TV: you have Bloomberg TV+ and Bloomberg Originals at no extra cost.
- On satellite: DIRECTV customers will find it on channel 353.
Also, avoid unofficial YouTube restreams and random sites that claim to carry the channel. They aren’t licensed, they often get taken down mid-show, and some loop old footage.
