NewsLive aims to correct factual errors promptly and transparently.

How we handle corrections

When we confirm that a published article contains a material factual error, we update the article as soon as reasonably possible. Significant corrections should be noted clearly on the affected article so readers can understand what changed.

Minor updates

Spelling, grammar, formatting and other changes that do not alter the meaning of a story may be corrected without a formal correction note.

Developing stories

Breaking-news reports may change as verified information becomes available. Material updates should be reflected in the article’s updated timestamp and, where appropriate, explained within the story.

Request a correction

If you believe a NewsLive article contains an error, please use our Contact page and include the article URL, the information you believe is incorrect, and supporting evidence where available.
