Fox News election night coverage of the 2026 midterms starts at 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday, November 3, when Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum open a special edition of “Democracy 26.” In the US you can stream it on FOX One or sign in to Fox News Go with a TV provider. In the UK and Europe, coverage starts at 11 p.m. GMT (midnight CET). Here’s the full timetable, who is on air, and every official way to watch.
Key facts (as of October 2026)
- “Democracy 26” begins at 6 p.m. ET on November 3 (11 p.m. GMT, midnight CET), anchored by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.
- FOX Business simulcasts the Fox News Channel coverage from 6 p.m. ET Tuesday until 6 a.m. ET Wednesday.
- FOX One, Fox’s $19.99-a-month streaming service, adds a new “Command Center” screen that shows live coverage next to live results.
What is Fox News planning for election night?
Fox News Channel will run one long special from the early evening of November 3 until the morning of November 4. Baier, the network’s chief political anchor, and MacCallum lead the main desk, while the Fox News Decision Desk projects House, Senate and governor’s races and calls control of each chamber.
The analysis bench is large. Fox lists Dana Perino, Brit Hume, Harold Ford Jr., Bill Hemmer, Sandra Smith, Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters and Sean Hannity, according to the network’s own viewing guide. NewscastStudio’s report adds Harris Faulkner, Kayleigh McEnany and Jessica Tarlov to that list.
More than 20 correspondents will report from states with close races, including Maine, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Texas, Georgia and Alaska. Chief congressional correspondent Chad Pergram covers Capitol Hill, and Jacqui Heinrich, Peter Doocy and Aishah Hasnie report from the White House.
On screen, the network says it will lean harder on augmented reality and data graphics. These compare county-level results with earlier elections and track the balance of power as calls come in.
Fox News election night schedule (ET, GMT and CET)
The main special runs for 10 hours, then an overnight anchor carries the count into the morning shows. The US switches back to standard time on November 1, so on election night ET is five hours behind GMT and six hours behind CET.

How to watch Fox News election night coverage in the US
There is no free 24/7 stream of Fox News Channel, so you need either a pay-TV sign-in or a FOX One subscription. The good news is that both routes carry the full special, and FOX Business viewers get it too because of the simulcast.
| Option | What you get on election night | Cost (as of October 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| FOX One | Live Fox News Channel plus the new Command Center, Election Hub and Ask Fox “Elections Mode” | $19.99/month; included for pay-TV customers whose package has a Fox channel |
| Fox News app or Fox News Go with a TV provider | Live Fox News Channel and FOX Business | Included with an eligible TV plan |
| DIRECTV Election HQ (channels 71 and 200) | Fox News, CNN, MS NOW and Newsmax on one screen with AP results, Nov 2–4 | Included for DIRECTV subscribers |
| Fox News Digital and Fox News Radio | Live blog, results center, radio audio from 7 p.m. ET | Free |
FOX One is sold directly by Fox and also through Roku’s Premium Subscriptions, Prime Video Channels and YouTube Primetime Channels, according to The Desk. If you’re new to the service, our Fox News live stream guide covers plans, devices and the free trial.
Prefer markets coverage between calls? The simulcast means the special also runs on the Fox Business channel until 6 a.m.
Is there a free way to follow the results?
Yes, though not the TV channel itself. The Fox News website and app carry a free live blog, the Fox News Power Rankings and Fox News Voter Analysis. The app’s “Listen” tab also streams Fox News Radio from 7 p.m. ET.
For free live video, LiveNOW from FOX is a separate free channel on services like Tubi, Pluto TV and YouTube. The Desk reports that Fox will also feature LiveNOW inside its FOX One election coverage, so speeches and raw events may turn up there.
Coming soon: the NewsLive streaming app. We’re building one subscription for live international news on Android, Roku, Fire TV and desktop. The service is under development. See what the NewsLive app will offer and join the early-access list.
Can you watch Fox News election night coverage from the UK or Europe?
Yes, but not through FOX One, which is sold only in the US, its territories and Mexico. Viewers abroad should look for FOX News International, Fox’s subscription app that streams the live Fox News Channel feed in selected countries. Search for it in your phone or TV app store; if it appears, it’s sold where you live.
In the UK, the special starts at 11 p.m. GMT on Tuesday. In Paris, Berlin, Madrid or Rome it starts at midnight. The first polls close at 6 p.m. ET in parts of Indiana and Kentucky, so the opening hour already brings early returns. For other networks’ plans for overseas viewers, see our guide to watching the US midterms in the UK and Europe.
What’s new in Fox’s coverage this year?
Most of the change is on streaming and in the app, rather than on the main channel. FOX One gets three new tools, which The Desk detailed on October 28:
- Command Center: live Fox News coverage sits in the middle of the screen, with results, polling and race analysis in widgets around it.
- Election Hub: a portal that gathers reports from Fox-owned stations in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas and Atlanta.
- Ask Fox “Elections Mode”: a chatbot built on ElectionAI, an in-house Fox News Media system, that answers questions about races and past results.
Fox’s head of direct-to-consumer product, Amit Dudakia, explained the thinking simply: “The results don’t arrive in order,” he told The Desk. The Fox News app, meanwhile, adds a “Midterms 2026” tab with county maps, its own “Election HQ” chatbot and “The Room,” a live discussion space for signed-in users.
Other networks are doing similar things. If you want to compare, our page on CNN’s election night plans has that network’s times and anchors, and the Streaming News section tracks the rest. MS NOW starts its own coverage at the same 6 p.m. ET, and our guide to MS NOW election night lists its anchors and free streams.
