The NewsLive app is a subscription streaming service for live international news that we are building for Android, Roku, Fire TV and desktop. It is not available yet. This page explains what it will be, how it will work and how to hear when it launches.
What is the NewsLive app?
The NewsLive app will be one subscription for live news channels from the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and the Middle East. You will sign in once and watch on the devices you already use, instead of juggling a different app or package for each channel.
Which channels will it carry?
The app will only carry channels we are licensed to distribute, under agreements with their rights holders. We will publish the full channel list before launch. Until then, we do not name channels as part of the service, and no channel listed in our guides should be read as included in the app.
Which devices will it work on?
| Device | Planned app |
|---|---|
| Android phones and tablets | Android app |
| Roku players and Roku TVs | Roku channel |
| Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick | Fire TV app |
| Windows and Mac computers | Desktop app and web player |
How much will it cost, and when does it launch?
We have not set a price or a launch date yet, and we will not take payments until the service is ready. When pricing is confirmed, it will be published here first.
How does the app relate to our guides?
Our guides are independent. They cover every official way to watch a channel, including free broadcaster apps, YouTube channels and live TV packages from other companies, and they will keep doing so after the app launches. We never link to unofficial streams. Read more in our Editorial Policy and Advertising Policy, or start with the full channel list.
How can I hear when it launches?
Join the early-access list below. People on the list will get 3 months of premium channels free when we launch. We use your email only for launch updates, as described in our Privacy Policy, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
