CNN All Access UK went live on October 20, 2026, giving British viewers a direct way to stream CNN without signing up for a pay-TV package. It costs £4.99 a month or £49.99 a year. Canada got the same service on the same day, priced at $7.99 CAD a month. Below is what the subscription includes, how it differs from the American version and who it actually suits.
Key facts (as of October 2026)
- CNN launched its All Access streaming subscription in the UK and Canada on October 20, 2026.
- The UK price is £4.99 a month or £49.99 a year, with a first-year welcome price of £37.99.
- In Canada it costs $7.99 CAD a month or $79.99 CAD a year, and eligible pay-TV customers can log in at no extra cost.
What is CNN All Access UK and how much does it cost?
CNN All Access is CNN’s own streaming subscription. It bundles live channels, on-demand video and unlimited reading on CNN.com and the CNN app, so one login covers all of it. The company first launched it in the United States in October 2025, and this month is its first move abroad.
Here is how the prices line up across the three markets. The US figures are the prices CNN announced at launch, so check the sign-up page for today’s offer.
| Market | Monthly | Annual | First-year welcome price |
|---|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | £4.99 | £49.99 | £37.99 |
| Canada | $7.99 CAD | $79.99 CAD | $59.99 CAD |
| United States (launch prices, October 2025) | $6.99 | $69.99 | $41.99 |
The welcome price applies to the first year only. After that, the annual plan renews at the full rate, so it’s worth putting a reminder in your calendar.
What you get with the subscription
In short, you get live TV, a video library and the paywalled parts of CNN’s website. According to CNN’s announcement, subscribers in both new markets receive:
- A selection of live channels drawn from CNN’s international and US programming.
- Exclusive video-on-demand content.
- A library of CNN Original Series and CNN Films.
- Unlimited text, audio and video on CNN.com and the CNN app, including subscriber-only reporting.
CNN Worldwide chief operating officer Alex MacCallum framed the launch around the brand, calling CNN “a premium, trusted name in news” with global reach. The release does not, however, list a full UK channel schedule. So the exact hours of American programming you’ll see may differ from the US product.
Existing customers also get a simple handover. UK subscribers to CNN’s older CNN Live product are being upgraded to All Access. In Canada, eligible pay-TV customers can log in with their provider details and watch the video offering at no extra charge.
How does CNN All Access UK compare with the US version?
The idea is the same, but the UK plan is cheaper on paper and its schedule is less documented. In the US, CNN’s own reporting at launch said the main CNN stream runs from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET on weekdays. CNN International streams there from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
CNN also explained that a few US hours are swapped for other shows. It described this as a concession to the cable and satellite companies that still pay to carry the channel. CNN hasn’t said whether the UK feed follows the same hours, so treat the US schedule as a rough guide rather than a promise.
Next, expect more countries. CNN says it plans to bring All Access to additional international markets in the coming year, although it has not named them yet.
How to watch CNN in the UK and Canada
The quickest route is to subscribe on CNN.com or in the CNN app and then sign in on your other devices. The steps are simple:
- Open CNN.com or the CNN app and choose the All Access subscription.
- Pick monthly or annual billing. The annual plan carries the first-year discount.
- Sign in on the web, or on CNN’s supported mobile and connected-TV apps.
- In Canada, pay-TV customers should first try logging in with their provider details, because that access costs nothing extra.
The timing is useful for anyone following American politics. Who should consider it?
All Access makes most sense if you want CNN specifically and don’t already get it through a TV package. If CNN International is already part of what you pay for, check what you’d gain before adding a second bill.
On the other hand, if you mainly want rolling headlines, a free service may be enough. Our free vs paid news streaming comparison covers the trade-offs.
